Black & Decker are Heroes

I was disappointed when my coffeemaker let me down, and my long devotion to Black & Decker was turning to ash. But the people managing the coffeemaker line, Applica is the group name, have acted like superheroes of the tech age. They've leapt over all the little difficulties that would have made it impossible for me to return the flawed one -- and lo! behold! on my doorstep today, from them, a replacement that will work, I just feel sure, as perfectly as the one I had, that lasted from 1996 to this spring.

Black & Decker are my heroes, after all.
